Finnish AITA/IATA Center is only national organisation handling amateur theatre's international activities and tasks in Finland. The Finnish AITA / IATA Center is a joint center for three Finnish national theater organizations. The members of the Finnish AITA / IATA Center are Finlands Svenska Ungdomsförbund r.f. (FSU), the Finnish Recreational Theater Association r.y. (SHT) and the Workers' Stage Association Association r.y. (TNL). The Center carries out Nordic and international affairs activities and participates through Nordic and international organizations for
global amateur theater activities.
The Center of Finland organize the amateur theater festivals, seminars and courses for Finnish amateur theater groups and individual. Special attention is paid to youth theater groups, for which we develop special methods of working with young people.
Within our association, there are over 300 adults and around 100 youth theater groups.
