LECOQ AND MASKS

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Bram De Win will be working on the method of Jacques Lecoq and masks. Jacques Locoq was primarily known for his neutral masks, which he introduced to his students as a methodology in improvisation and play. The masks encourage discovery and openness, there are no “characters” only generic beings. Actors gain knowledge through movement. The method is in other words a hybrid between movement training and improvisational approaches
